STUDY OF THE WORD OF GOD
The
apostle Paul wrote to young Timothee : "
All Scripture is given by inspiration
of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the
man of God may be perfect, thoroughly equipped for all
good works " (2 Timothy
3 :16-17).
Futher
more, the same apostle exhorts the disciple of Christ to
walk worthy of the Lord, in all pleasing Him, being
fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the
knowledge of God (Colossians 1 :10). Is it not our
desire ?
Growing
by Him is essential, growing in Him is just as
important. A child of God must develop a daily
intimacy
with the Master through prayer, reading and meditating
the Holy Scriptures, without
forgetting to study them.
This
section STUDY OF THE WORD logically falls within
the following perspective : to go deeper into the study
of all possible themes of the Bible, according to the
foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ
Himself being the chief cornerstone (Ephesians 2 :20).
